We took Sydney to the beach again for a few days over the 4th. We are very lucky that Sydney's MeMe and Pops have a place in Morehead City that we can use. This time, Sydney's Uncle Brent and Catherine came with us. We had a super relaxing time...hung out on the beach, ate out, had Dairy Queen, and just RELAXED. I'm not sure if Brent and Catherine would agree that it was relaxing with a ten month old, but it was for Blake and myself.
Sydney is still unsure of putting her toes in the water, but she seems to really enjoy just being on the beach. She points to the water and "talks" about everything she sees. I can foresee her being a sunbather as she gets older, relaxing and reading in the sun. This time we brought a tent for Sydney to sit under, which Sydney and I bought Blake for Father's Day. It went up fairly...easy. The wind was definitely against us, but once it was up, it was great!
