When I See You Smile

Sydney has learned a new trick...smiling!  It is the best feeling in the world when she looks up at us and breaks out a huge (toothless) grin.  Of course, we immediately try to get her to repeat it over and over and sometimes she is more than happy to oblige.  The funny part is that she gives her best smiles on the changing table...who would think having your diaper changed would make for such a happy baby?  It was hard to get this newest feat captured on camera, but we know that many more will come our way!

Pumpkin Patch Visit

Today we took Sydney for her first trip to the pumpkin patch.  Blake's favorite holiday is Halloween, so you know we have to do it up right!  We dressed Sydney in a pumpkin outift complete with a black cat hat, which we were surprised actually fit on her head.  Sydney slept for most of the excursion, but we got some really good pictures.  I look forward to years to come when she can run around and pick her own pumpkin out!

Happy One Month Birthday!!

It is hard to believe that Sydney is one month old today!  Everyone says how fast the time will go by, and so far, I believe them.  We have enjoyed every moment with her and fall in love with her more everyday.  I can't wait to see what the next month holds.
